Wager Company History
Welcome to the Wager Company Web Site. Starting in a 40’ semi-trailer in 1983, the Wager organization now represents over twenty different manufacturers serving the Waterworks, Irrigation, Fire Protection and Plumbing Industrial markets in the Southeastern United States. Wager Company warehouses a majority of their manufacturer’s products in their central warehouse facility in Longwood, a suburb of Orlando, Florida. From this location, which is also the main office, we ship daily to locations all over the United States.
We are capable of assembling Automatic Control Valves from 1 ½" through 12". This capability has dramatically cut the lead time and delivery from weeks to a matter of days. In addition, Wager Company has the technical personnel to support the sale with start-up services, design assistance, and repair service for not only Ames valves but other manufacturers as well.
Wagco, a subsidiary, was formed in 1996 to answer the demand from our customers for Brass Valve Markers. We have acquired engraving capabilities to produce markers of almost any size for a variety of uses in the industries we serve. This capability has been widened to other materials such as stainless steel and plastic. All of these products are possible due to state of the art computer controlled engraving equipment.
Wager Company’s objective is to be able to deliver the products we represent to the customer faster than the competition and have the technical know-how to support those products after the sale, when it is needed most.
